"Train up a child ...
in the way she should go and when she is old she will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
I told you that I would try to include lots of pictures of Bishop Mule Days, one of my favorite events of the year.
Some of the nicest people I've met are Bill and Gina Garrett of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Their email is firstname.lastname@example.org. They are regulars at Bishop Mule Days. You can always recognize their big trailer in the area where the pens are to the east of the barns. They specialize in mammoth jackstock. Take my word for it. In Oklahoma they grow'em big. The Garrett's have some of the finest.
They have also done really amazing things with their six-year old granddaughter, Becca. She always gets the crowd cheering with her enthusiasm and determination. Here we have her and a proud Grandpa in the Donkey Pleasure Driving class. She is driving Arco Alma.

This is so exciting. I have started a program at our County Fair for 4Hers to show mules and donkeys as we have never had them before and it has grown from one donkey to 20+ in the past four years. I think it is great to get kids involved with these wonderful longears...... Great job!!

Thank you so much for the kind words. We always strive to please our customers, but most of all we are just honest about the donkeys. It is always a joy to see someone get a donkey to have for their very own. Becca is really enjoying her summer of showing. We just got back from Shelbyville, Tennessee, where she showed Arco' Alma. God truly blessed us with such an awesome child.
