Spring Time!
I just love spring time, when the snow melts away, the weather warms up, and we get to enjoy all those fun little spring time donkey antics!
Now that the snow has melted and the mud has dried out some, I've started letting the donkeys out in the big field for play time again. It is so much fun to watch them run and play around the field. They like to take turns chasing each other back and forth across the field and playing some fantastic games of tag! Who said donkeys can't run?
Here's a short video clip that I got of my yearling mammoth jennet, Star, playing with her buddy 16 year old standard jennet, Elsie. Star is the dark colored one, and Elsie is the lighter gray dunn jennet. They sure were having a blast out there!
